I am a freelance photographer with a focus on communication through imagery.
My favourite subjects are people, places, adventure and activities.
I am also write, with numerous articles as well as photos published.

For many years I have been heavily involved in the Super Yacht industry. Firstly as a stewardess on two private luxury yachts. I cruised in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and from New Zealand to Italy over two years. During this time my camera was never far away as I enjoyed smiles, seas, sights and shows. I came ashore and began promoting the South Pacific as a super yacht charter destination. I used my pool of images and photos from our vessels in the region coupled with research into local culture and activities to tell the rest of the world how fantastic it is to visit the South Pacific. I have also been a regular contributor of photos and articles to industry related publications. Mixed in with this are courses and freelance & assistant photographic work.

1999 I completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree and achieved my goal of First Class Honours in Sociology from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch New Zealand.
Sociology certainly helps my photography as the images are often firstly social observations I go on to capture in a photograph. Now I seem to do my social research and story telling through photography & text.
